Every eye we create
is one of a kind.

Throughout the creation process, we'll work closely with you to ensure your prosthetic matches your needs and feels entirely personal to you.

With over 10 years' experience crafting bespoke ocular prosthetics, we're able to create an artificial eye that is right for your needs.

We are experienced working with newly monocular patients and with patients who wear bilateral prosthetics, so whatever you need, we are here to help.

A natural appearance in any lighting.

An old work in progress, just look at those colours! But sometimes the paint has a mind of its own…

Deep browns on this set of artificial eyes created for a patient last year.

Personalised to you in every way!

We make sure to capture your essence, so your artificial eye truly feels like yours.

#TBT to this work in progress; this is a very thin scleral shell so I painted the iris directly onto the acrylic 👁️

It's great to see the colours pop in the sunshine ☀️

Crafted to match the size, shape and colour of your natural eye, our prosthetics can be made to be indistinguishable from a natural eye at conversational distance.

All of our prosthetics are handmade from scratch by Lorna, our ocularist.

Finding the right colour match for you is something we pride ourselves on - from hazel to blue, we'll create an artificial eye you're confident wearing.

Natural eyes aren't flawless. Our prosthetics all have those little details that make your artificial eye as realistic as possible.

All of our prosthetics are made bespoke for you by Lorna, our ocularist. This means they'll be comfortable and well-fitted.

I love how this iris colour changes so much between bright and dark lighting.

The Christmas spirit has already hit at Kind Eyes Prosthetics! I always describe this type of shape to patients as a little elf hat! It may look like a strange shape on its own but when it's in place, it's magical! This prosthetic has extra volume added to the top edge to counter fat loss in the upper area of the socket. The deep ridge, just above the cornea, creates space for a stretched upper lid to settle into, opening up the eye without stretching the top lid any further and creating a nice cut crease.
